Vanessa has been successfully producing and marketing valves worldwide for almost four decades. After having been a subsidiary of Keystone from 1989, Vanessa joined Tyco International Ltd. in 1997, a diversified global manufacturer and supplier of industrial products and systems, listed among the world's largest 50 companies. Vanessa operates within one of its four core business, the Tyco Flow Control segment.

During the year 2000, the company became a division of Tyco Valves & Controls Italia S.r.l. to create a European leading valves manufacturing group which includes also the Raimondi and Fasani brand names.

The Vanessa products are manufactured at its comprehensively equipped factory in Lugagnano Val d'Arda (PC), Italy. This technologically advanced, purpose-built factory located in Northern Italy, covers a total area of 30,500 square meters, of which 11,500 sqm. are for the manufacturing space and 1,800 sqm. for the office area.

Vanessa produces its range of valves by using advanced purpose built machinery, i.e. CNC machining centres for turning, drilling and milling of bodies and discs, a welding robot system equipped with welding stations, an up-to-date surface treatment department which help put the Vanessa brand name at the top of the international market.

A dedicated team, operating from the engineering department, uses the latest software (Parametric technology three-dimensional CAD, and Finite Element Analysis Software) to provide the utmost in engineering and manufacturing control of product.

Since 1992, the International Inspection Agency "Det Norske Veritas" has certified that Vanessa operates a Quality Assurance system in compliance with ISO 9001. The factory is also qualified by TÜV in compliance with Ad-Merkblatt HP 0 (TRB 801 nr. 45) standard.

Today Vanessa is the international leader in the manufacture of high technology rotary process valves and its main target is always the satisfaction of the end user. Its Series 30,000, in fact, is a unique quarter turn, metal seated, triple offset and zero leakage valve which enables users to cover almost all the applications, and which has been gaining a remarkable reputation all over the world.
